First time renting? Here’s a breakdown of the lettings process!

The Lettings Process

Firstly, think about what you imagine your next home to be. Where are you looking to live? What are your top three requirements? What would you desire in your next home?

• Register with LetsMoov: Call 020 8942 9578 or click here
• Arrange your viewing schedule.
• Securing your property off the market by way of holding deposit.
• Provide general information and arranging move in dates & details with your negotiator.
• References – References usually take 48 hours from submission. LetsMoov will also require 2 forms of identity such as passport and utility bill.
• Tenancy Agreement: Your tenancy agreement will be drawn up in accordance with any break clauses agreed.
• Security Deposit: Equivalent of 6 weeks rent. All security deposits will be held in a third party deposit scheme, details of which will be provided to you within 14 days of your tenancy commencement. For more information on Tenancy Deposit Protection, please click here.
• Sign & Settle: Settlement monies are required to be cleared funds before tenancy commences. Sign and witness AST (tenancy agreement).
• Check-in to the property & key handover.
• Congratulations you have now moved in!
